Babies grow and develop faster in the first year than any other year. During the first six months of life, babies gradually gain information about the world around them. Babies younger than six months depend mainly on their caregivers for their daily experiences. The best way to help infants grow into curious, confident, able learners is to give them warm, consistent care so that they can form secure attachments to their caregivers and begin to develop a trust that their environment is free for expression and conducive to learning.

This consistency is important to the social, emotional and cognitive development of babies and young children. Regularity, predictability, routines, orderliness, and setting and enforcing limits contribute to a positive consistent environment. Experiences in a consistent environment help strengthen networks of connections in the brain. These connections form the foundation for the development of trust in others, self-esteem, behavior regulation, and many other abilities. Egghead learning Center staff promises to always provide sensitive and responsive care-giving that promotes your child's growth and development, and through experiential learning will remove limitations and replace them with wonder.
